Highwood council to consider city-property disposal ordinance tonight

The Highwood City Council will consider an ordinance to allow disposal of surplus city-owned property at today's meeting, 7:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers.

The council also will consider a contract bid by Morton Salt to supply 50 tons of salt for use on local roads next winter.

The council also will discuss a proposed ordinance to amend the city's ambulance contract, under service fees, to follow the agreement with Highland Park for emergency services.
