Lake County Public Works Committee considers several road-work contracts

At a meeting this week, the Lake County Public Works and Transportation Committee was expected to consider a joint resolution to approve a contract with Peter Baker & Son Co. to provide road-upgrade services, including surface removal, patching, and curb and gutter replacement.

The work would be done on Braewick Road and Salisbury Drive in the Bridlewood subdivision in Warren Township.

The committee also was expected to discuss a proposed contract with Payne and Dolan Inc. for road-patching services in the Silver Lake subdivision in Antioch Township.

The committee also was expected to consider a proposed contract with Geske and Sons Inc. for road-patching work on Chevy Chase Road, from Gilmer Road to the Mundelein village limit in Fremont Township.
