At a recent meeting, the Lake Forest Historic Preservation Commission considered several requests for Certificates of Appropriateness for demolitions or building alterations.
Made up of seven Lake Forest residents, the commission is responsible for preserving historic buildings, gardens and streetscapes as well as the overall historic character of the community.
