Citizens to Elect Bill Rekus owes $3,300 in fines

The campaign committee Citizens to Elect Bill Rekus owes a $1,200 fine imposed on Aug. 28, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $2,100 with Bill Rekus listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 20 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $88,517.30 in pending fines.
