Unpaid fines for Lake Villa-based campaign committee totaled $150 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Lake Villa has overdue fines amounting to a total of $150, records obtained by the Lake County Gazette show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Friends of Ed Erwin was the only campaign committee in Lake Villa that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The largest fine that Friends of Ed Erwin has yet to pay was imposed on Sept. 2, 2016, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $75.
