Lake County GOP parading plenty of Christmas fun this year
The Lake County Republicans are out to make sure everyone is in a festive mood this holiday season, according to recent press releases.
The organization will host the Fox Lake Lighted Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25, at Millennium Park. The event, sponsored by Trotter & Associates, includes caroling, entertainment and free refreshments.
Revelers can begin lining up as early as 4 p.m. at Grant High School for a parade kick-off that will end at Millennium.
Also in store at 5 p.m. on the same day is the annual Lake Villa Lighted Christmas Parade, which will include a tree lighting ceremony, Santa party at the train station, and refreshments and entertainment.
