Village of Volo Board of Trustees will meet on May 1.

Public Comment – Agenda Items

1. Approval of Minutes:  Regular Meeting of April 24, 2018

2. Approval:  Accounts Payable – May 1, 2018

3. Resolution No. R‐18‐236:   Appropriating Funds for the Improvement of Volo Village Road from  

     US Highway 12 to IL Route 120

     The Village Board will consider approving Resolution No. R‐18‐236, appropriating funds for the

     improvement of Volo Village Road from US Highway 12 to IL Route 120.  The project will be funded

     with a federal highway grant, covering 80% of the project cost.  The 20% local match will be split

     between Volo (55%) and Lakemoor (45%) based on jurisdiction of the road.

4. Authorization to Execute:  Police Services Contract

     The Village Board will consider approving a three‐year contract extension for police services with the

     Lake County Sheriff’s Office.  The contract maintains the current level of service – two deputies and

     squad cars per day.  Non‐contract emergency response and patrol are provided overnight; however,

     no dedicated resources are located within the Village.

5. Authorization to Execute:  Water System Operations Contract

     The Village Board will consider approving a two‐year contract extension for water system operations

     with Robinson Engineering.

6. Waiver of Bids / Authorization to Execute:  Well #5 Electric Repair

     The Village Board will consider waiving the formal bid process and authorizing execution of a

     contract with Water Well Solutions for electric repairs to Well #5.
