Grayslake Heritage Center & History Museum issued the following announcement on April 29.
On Wednesday, May 10 at 7 pm, this presentation will explore the significant contributions of women to Great Lakes Naval Station from its opening in 1911 through the present. Over twenty women who broke legal and civic barriers in the fight for inclusion, equality, and recognition within the United States Navy will be highlighted.
