Graduates earn 403 degrees from Lake Forest College

About 21.6 percent of the 403 degrees and certificates handed out by the Lake Forest College in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Forest conferred 87 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Finance, General. Data shows the school gave out 49 bachelor's degrees in Finance, General, followed by 38 bachelor's degrees in Business/Commerce, General and 32 bachelor's degrees in Biology/Biological Sciences, General.

The college enrolled 1,578 students for 2016-17, including 1,540 in undergraduate programs and 38 in graduate programs.
