Illinois students paid $45,548 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $1,432 more than the $44,116 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 344 students received grants or scholarships totaling $10.44 million and 289 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.05 million.
Including all undergraduates, 1,508 students used grants or scholarships totaling $43.97 million. Another 1,209 took out $9.24 million in federal student loans.
