Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District responded to 765 calls in 2017 - 1.9 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Lincolnshire-Riverwoods included 70 fires - 49 structure fires, three vehicle fires and 18 other fires. The fire department also responded to four calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $770,602 in fire loss - or about $11,009 per fire.

The department also received 691 false calls, including two malicious calls and 689 other false calls.

The Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $10,762,637 in 2017.
