Village of Fox Lake issued the following announcement on June 28.
Due to the anticipated high heat index for June 30, 2018, the parade portion of the Celebrate Fox Lake event has been canceled.
Festivities will be held at Lakefront Park starting at 4:00 p.m. with brass bands performing patriotic music, food and drink, kids activities and more! Modern Day Romeos Band will be performing starting at 7:00 p.m. Fireworks will launch at 9:30 p.m.
