75 percent of applicants to Trinity International University-Illinois were admitted for fall 2017

At Trinity International University-Illinois, 72 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Deerfield enrolled 2,161 students in fall 2017, including 934 in undergraduate and 1,227 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

40 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 49 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (52 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 500 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 45 percent enrolled.
