Barrington Park District recently issued the following announcement.
AGES: ACTIVE ADULTS (MODERATE WALKING)
Fee: $80/$85
Location: Depart F&RC Lobby for Crystal Lake Park District
Join us as we visit the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. Anticipated non-game day tour includes: seating bowl, press box, Budweiser bleachers, visitors’ clubhouse and Cubs’ dugout. All stops and locations are subject to availability. Reminder: Wrigley Field is an active construction site. Please dress and plan accordingly. Specific tour routes are established each day based on events and activities in the ballpark. This is a 75-90 minute guided tour. Tours are outdoor walking tours (approximately 1 mile) conducted in rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. Prior to the tour we will enjoy buffet style lunch with salad, appetizers and a sandwich at Bernie’s across from Wrigley Field. If there is enough time between lunch and tour, you can enjoy some Cubs shopping. Registration deadline: is August 17 (spaces permitting.) Transportation provided via Park District van to Crystal Lake Park District to board a couch bus.
Trip Policies & Cancellations
Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up,but all adults are welcome.
Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
