Gurnee Park District issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
Join the GO movement on Saturday, September 29 at 9:00 am. This walk will celebrate the GO success with music, prizes, light refreshments and a walk with 15 other GO Lake County partners.

GO Lake County is planned to be the biggest group GO walk to date. Wear your GO shirt, or receive one at the event.

Schedule of events to include:
•9:00 am reception and pre-walk activities
•9:30 am welcome ceremony and group walk
There will be two routes available for walkers. One will be 0.8 miles, and the other 2.3 miles. Trails are paved and gravel. Walk is FREE to attend and for all ages. While other GO events are pet friendly, only service animals are eligible to participate.
With community participants, walking clubs and a variety of intergovernmental partnerships GO continues to move beyond a local wellness movement. This GO Lake County event is just the start! Hope you can join us!
