Yingling appeared to outpace Idstein by a margin of 1.5 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Rod Drobinski, won by a margin of 12.2 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Sam Yingling, who received 336 votes to Drobinski's 429.
