State House race: Republican Idstein wins voter tally in Wauconda Township Precinct 338

Ken Idstein led Democrat Sam Yingling in votes cast in Wauconda Township Precinct 338 for the District 62 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Idstein appeared to outpace Yingling by a margin of 1.3 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Rod Drobinski, won by a margin of 16.1 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Sam Yingling, who received 198 votes to Drobinski's 274.
