Report: Woodland spent $13,477 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50 is up 30 percent from five years ago, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Lake County school district spent $10,366 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,477 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 6372 to 5615.

Woodland's spending in 2017-18 was 1 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
