Citizens To Elect Jon Stewart owes $2,700 in fines

The campaign committee Citizens To Elect Jon Stewart owes a $2,325 fine imposed on Aug. 31, 2018, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $375 with Jon Stewart listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 21 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $68,485 in pending fines.
