The campaign committee of treasurer candidate David Stolman, Citizens for David Stolman, returned a $2,607.28 contribution from David Stolman on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Stolman has not made any other contributions to David Stolman in the past 12 months.
