Deerfield Park District issued the following announcement on May 1.
Don’t miss the Sachs Recreation Center’s recycling event, ReUse-A-Rama on June 15th from 1-4p.m. Bring your donations and learn about many ways to recycle, repurpose and reuse.
We will be collecting a variety of items. Let’s keep these items out of landfills!
*Gently used books and board games
*Eyeglasses
*Cell Phones
*Gently used stuffed animals and plush toys
*Textiles – including new, gently used, worn clothing, as well as other items such as bedding, linens and towels (please no pillows, cushions or rugs) Due to space constraints, please limit textile donations to 3 garbage bags.
*Shoes (please tie or rubber band together)
We will also have a shredding truck on site from 1:30-4:00 p.m. Bring documents that you would like to have shredded. Please limit to 2 bags per person.
Tell your friends and start cleaning out your closets! We look forward to seeing you on June 15th!
