Kildeer Countryside Community Consolidated School District 96 issued the following announcement on May 7.
The 40th Annual Stevenson High School Art Consortium Festival on Apr. 30 gave families and community members an opportunity to visit the Stevenson High School Field House to enjoy art created by hundreds of talented student artists working in a variety of media.
This popular tradition is a favorite family evening, as students from all the elementary school districts in the Stevenson High School Consortium have the pleasure of seeing their work exhibited and enjoyed by a large appreciative audience.
A demonstration table also gave attendees the opportunity to create art they could take home.
District 96 art teachers Leslie Norman (Kildeer), Katie Lindgren (Ivy Hall), Chris Morris (Prairie), Liv Grossman (Country Meadows), Beth Dodge (Twin Groves), and Jeremy Martin (Woodlawn) selected and mounted for display the work of over 100 artists from their school.
