Waukegan Community Unit School District 60 issued the following announcement on June 13.
Waukegan High School is partnering with Rosalind Franklin University Health Clinics to give Waukegan athletes the opportunity to receive free sports physicals during two events later this month.
The two free athletic physical events will take place on June 18 from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and June 27 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., both at Waukegan High School-Washington Campus. Athletes may enter through the main gym entrance.
No appointment or insurance is necessary to receive a physical. However, all students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate, unless they complete and sign an intake form prior to the event. Intake forms can be found in the athletic office of the Brookside Campus.
All high school students who plan to participate in athletics during the 2019-2020 school year, must have a recent physical on file on day one of fall tryouts. Sports physicals are valid for 13 months. Anyone with questions is asked to contact the WHS athletic office at 224-303-2907.
