Deerfield Park District issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.
On Thursday, August 15, the Sachs Recreation Center will be open from 5:00 am – 9:00 am for members and guests wanting to work out on the fitness floor or weight rooms and utilize the track.
The Kids Korner Babysitting Room will not be available.
At 9:00 am the facility will close and is tentatively planned to re-open at 5:00 pm.
A large electric panel is being replaced in the building and there will be no lighting available during this time.
As soon as the work is completed there will be an E-Alert sent out to announce the re-opening. If you have any questions regarding this please speak with Tony Korzyniewski, SRC General Manager.
