Illinois State House District 58 issued the following announcement on Dec. 29
The office of State Representative Bob Morgan is seeking applicants for a part time position in his Highwood, IL district office. This role is best suited to someone with a passion for service, strong communication skills, and an ability to adapt quickly and solve problems. The position will be for between 20 and 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to constituent questions and working with state agencies to address casework needs.
- Coordinating events, attending meetings and holding open office hours in various locations throughout the district.
- Engaging with constituents, elected officials and other agency and government staff.
- Managing day to day office operations including phone management, email correspondence, and mail management.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Government or office experience preferred.
