North Chicago - State Representative Rita Mayfield is partnering with Mano A Mano and Rosalind Franklin University to bring a free community health fair for district residents.
The health fair is completely free and provides flu shots, cholesterol screening, blood pressure and blood sugar check. Fasting 12 hours prior is suggested for the cholesterol screen.
The health fair will take place on January 19th from 9am to 12pm at Mano A Mano Family Resource Center located at 1801 Sheridan Road in North Chicago.
“The health and well-being of the people of our community is very important to me”, said Mayfield. “I sincerely appreciate our team and it’s a pleasure to work with both Mano A Mano and Rosalyn Franklin to make this possible.”
