Illinois State House District 58 issued the following announcement on May 31
There are reports of increased crime and unrest spreading into the suburbs. We have increased staffing within the Police Department and patrol officers are on alert. The Village is coordinating with area law enforcement agencies. No protests have been seen within the Village.”
