On Saturday August 1st beginning at 10am, there will be a free mask giveaway. Please take advantage of this.
The covid-19 pandemic poses a very serious public health threat here in our community. Our community which is largely black and Latinx has been particularly hard hit. The new case numbers here in our district and in Illinois overall have been going up. Masks help protect you and your family. Along with other elected officials, we’ve been working for months to secure free masks as we know that many have been having difficulties securing an adequate supply. We appreciate everyone who steps up to donate.
I remain committed to addressing environmental issues in the community and will continue to uphold my promise to my constituency.
