Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District responded to 680 calls in 2018 - 11.1 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Lincolnshire-Riverwoods included 66 fires - 32 structure fires, eight vehicle fires and 26 other fires. The fire department also responded to two calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $311,552 in fire loss - or about $4,720 per fire.

The department also received 612 false calls, including five malicious calls and 607 other false calls.

Six fire service member were injured in non fire-related incidents.

The Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $11,172,060 in 2018.
