University Center of Lake County issued the following announcement on Aug. 26
Testing is available Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting May 17, 2021.

College of Lake County partnered with SHIELD Illinois to administer its saliva-based COVID-19 test method developed by the University of Illinois. CLC students, faculty, staff and community members are encouraged to get tested.
The saliva-based COVID-19 test is a non-invasive test simply requiring an individual to deposit a saliva sample into a provided vial. Saliva samples are then transported to a network of lab partners who will process the sample and return results to the individual who was tested within 24 hours.
