Report: Warren School District spent $15,153 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Warren Township High School District 121 was up 22.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $12,411 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,153 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 4,267 to 3,876 students over the same period.

Warren's spending in 2019-20 was 4.6 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
