The City Council of North Chicago met in a Regular meeting, Monday, February 20, 2023 at 6:03 p.m.in the City Council Chambers at 1850 Lewis Avenue with Mayor Leon Rockingham, Jr., presiding.

Upon roll call being taken, the following members were present:

The Mayor announced that Alderman Murphy was unavailable due to illness.

Alderman Allen moved, seconded by Alderman Evans to approve the Omnibus Vote Agenda; Items 5-1 thru 5-4.

7-1 CONSIDERATION/APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE APPROVING FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AND ECONOMIC INCENTIVE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF NORTH CHICAGO AND BBB SKOKIE LLC
The Mayor asked to Table the item until the next Council, March 6, 2023.
Alderman January moved, seconded by Alderman Evans to table 7-1 the Ordinance for the First Amendment to the Redevelopment Agreement and Economic Agreement by and Between the City of North Chicago and BBB Skokie, LLC.

MOTION:
Alderman Mayfield moved, seconded by Alderman Jackson to pay the bills of Council Run 2/20/23 the amount of $1,430,623.75 including Special Bill Run when funds become available.
Alderman questioned Interim Comptroller, Tawanda Joyner if there were sufficient funds to fund the City Bills and balance of Water Fund as of close on Friday; Ms. Joyner clarified it was Thursday and stated amount of $5,428,164.77.

VARIOUS CONCERNS AND COMMENTS
Alderman January asked when she would be receiving a replacement for the laptop; Chris Franco, I.T. Network Administrator said it would arrive the next week or two.

There being no further business to come before the Council; a motion was made by Alderman Allen, seconded by Alderman Evans that the meeting stand adjourned.
