How much was donated from Lake County organizations to the Black Lives Matter movement?

By March 22, three organizations registered within Lake County had donated to the Black Lives Matter movement, according to the BLM Funding Database.

$93,850,360 was donated or pledged by these companies between 2020 and the present date.

AbbVie Inc. pledged the highest donation among area organizations and businesses, claiming to commit $62,000,360 to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Of the three organizations which pledged to donate to Black Lives Matter in recent years, one of them was confirmed to have fulfilled its pledge and actually donated the amount of money it said it would. It's unclear or unknown if the other organizations followed through with their pledges.

Abbott Laboratories$25,000,000Abbott announced that it is partnering with LISC to address equity and diversity gaps in the healthcare industry supply chain. Includes $12.5M in loan capital and $12.5M in grants to LISC to provide investment funding and targeted support to diverse small businesses.
