Friends of Lake Forest Library will host the 47th Annual Book Sale at the Lake Forest Recreation Center, located at 400 Hastings Road in Lake Forest. The largest book sale of the year will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A large variety of gently used books, audiobooks, and other types of media will be offered at discounted prices. This is a drop-in session, so there is no need to register in advance to attend. You are welcome to arrive at any point within the specified time window.

Tuesday, Sept. 19    

The League of Women Voters will offer voter registration assistance on National Voter Registration Day. This event will take place at the Lake Forest Library, located at 360 E. Deerpath Road in Lake Forest, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Now is the ideal time to get ready for the approaching elections, whether you are registering to vote for the first time or have relocated and need to renew your registration. A deputy registrar will be on hand to assist with form completion and to provide information.
