The City Council of North Chicago met in a Special meeting, Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.in the City Council Chambers at 1850 Lewis Avenue with Mayor Leon Rockingham, Jr., presiding.

Upon roll call being taken, the following members were present:
Present: Jackson, Allen, Murphy, January
Absent: Coleman, Evans, Smith
III. REGULAR AGENDA
3-1 Approval of Intergovernmental License Agreement Between the City of Waukegan and the City of North Chicago for Use of an Animal Shelter
Alderman Murphy moved, seconded by Alderman January approve the Intergovernmental License Agreement between the City of Waukegan and the City of North Chicago for Use of Animal Shelter as presented.
Police Chief Lazaro Perez just briefed that the City of Waukegan would be using the facility for approximately 6 months, the insurance requirements had been met. The City of Waukegan approved.

Absent: Coleman, Evans, Smith

There being no further business to come before the Council; a motion was made by Alderman Allen, seconded by Alderman January that the meeting stand adjourned.
