The Jim Carris campaign has launched a new radio ad aimed at voters in Illinois' 10th Congressional District, focusing on the incumbent Congressman Brad Schneider's refusal to debate. This move comes as part of an intensified voter outreach effort with just 40 days remaining before Election Day.

Carris emphasized the importance of engaging voters during this critical period.

"The next 40 days are pivotal. Our team is focused on making sure every voter in the 10th District knows they have a clear choice in this election," Carris said. "We will be in every corner of the District—knocking on doors, meeting families at events, and ensuring voters are informed."

Schneider has declined multiple invitations to debate publicly with Carris, which has become a significant issue in the campaign.

"Congressman Schneider would rather avoid accountability than defend his record after 10 years in Congress," Carris said. "I’m ready to debate anytime, anywhere. Voters deserve that dialogue."

The ad script criticizes Schneider for his performance over the past decade and positions Carris as a better alternative:

“Brad Schneider has spent a decade in Congress and failed the families of the 10th District. He has not passed a single law and blindly rubberstamps the far left. Now, he’s avoiding debates with Jim Carris—because he’s afraid of being held accountable.

Jim Carris will deliver where Brad Schneider has failed. Jim is a common-sense, independent business leader who will strengthen our economy and keep our streets safe.

Vote for Jim Carris—because the 10th District deserves better,” the ad stated.
