Lake Forest Community High School District 115 has announced the appointment of Teal Griffin as a new Spanish teacher at Lake Forest High School. Griffin expressed her attraction to the school due to its welcoming and supportive community. She aims to teach Spanish while assisting students in exploring diverse cultures.
According to Lake Forest Community High School D115, Griffin has traveled to over 35 countries and plans to take her two children on their first trip to Spain this spring. Recently, she spent ten days in the British Virgin Islands on a catamaran. Her background includes both classroom teaching and international travel, which she intends to integrate into her teaching methods at Lake Forest High School.
"I am already so inspired by the people I have met in my short time here at Lake Forest," Griffin said. "It is clear that the community strives to instill a passion for learning in its students and also to foster this in its teachers and staff. I love teaching the Spanish language and helping my students cultivate an understanding of diverse perspectives."
