The City of Lake Forest has announced the reconstruction of the tennis courts at West Park as part of its 2025-2030 Strategic Plan focused on Recreation and Community Well-Being. The project aims to provide a smooth, durable, and modern playing surface for tennis players of all ages and skill levels.
The reconstruction is scheduled to begin the week of March 17 and is expected to be completed by early June. During this period, the courts will be closed to the public.
Residents should anticipate increased construction traffic in the area with work hours set from Monday to Friday, between 7 AM and 4 PM.
Alternative tennis facilities are available at:
- Everett Park – 1191 Everett School Rd.
- Northcroft Park – 1365 South Ridge Rd.
- South Park - 150 S. Maywood Rd.
- Waveland Park - 600 South Waveland Rd. (Note: These courts will also be closed for approximately two weeks for resurfacing this spring; exact dates remain TBD.)
