AT&T has announced the installation of fiber optic cables in the subdivisions of Country Ridge and Hubbard Woods. The project is expected to conclude by mid-April 2025, weather permitting, with restoration work slated for May. Construction will take place in the Village right-of-way or existing utility easements, which are often located in backyards or along roads.

Construction crews will notify affected residents through door hangers. Residents with questions or concerns can contact AT&T at (800) 843-6581.

This project is separate from a similar initiative by i3 Broadband scheduled for later this year. Residents may experience overlapping work between the two companies in some areas.

To assist residents with inquiries about contractors on private property, a map has been provided showing where public property meets private property. The map indicates Public Utility and Drainage Easements in green, Typical Building Setbacks in orange, and Public Right-of-Way in red.

Contractors are permitted access to easements and rights-of-way to maintain various utilities such as gas and electric services; similarly, i3 Broadband will be installing fiber optic cables.

The green area represents dedicated public utility and drainage easements found on all home sites. These areas are designed to drain water away from homes into an underground storm sewer system that feeds into ponds within the subdivision. They also facilitate access to public utilities like telephone, electrical, natural gas, and communication systems such as fiber.

The orange area denotes building pad extents within required setbacks where houses can be built.

The red line represents the Public Right-of-Way typically housing sidewalks, streetlights, streets, and underground service utilities such as water, sanitary sewers, and storm sewers that serve the neighborhood.
