The Annual District 28 Homer O. Harvey 5K Walk/Run is set for Saturday, May 3 at 8 a.m. Registration for the event is open now.
The HOH5K event aims to raise funds for scholarships for School District 28 alumni graduating from high school. Families from all five schools are invited to participate in the 5K event, including Greenbriar Elementary, Meadowbrook Elementary, Westmoor Elementary, Northbrook Junior High and Glenbrook North High School. Since 1989, the Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund has raised over $400K and awarded scholarships to more than 400 high school students.
