The District 181 Board of Education has been awarded the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) School Board Governance Recognition. This award honors the Board's commitment to exemplary governance practices and their efforts to ensure the success of students and schools. Only five percent of school boards statewide earn this recognition.
At a recent board meeting, Dr. Arlana Bedard from the Illinois Association of School Boards presented the recognition, offering congratulations and highlighting the Board's dedication to effective leadership.
"Congratulations to the Board on receiving the IASB School Board Governance Recognition," Dr. Bedard said. "This is a testament to your dedication to effective leadership and your commitment to District 181. "
This recognition reflects the Board's hard work, strategic vision, and collaborative approach to leading District 181.
