Jefferson Butterfly Buddies bring joy; Lynn Condon honored as D64 Shining Star | Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 Board
The Jefferson Butterfly Buddies brought their energy and smiles to the March Board meeting. In addition to recognizing these preschoolers, District Physical Therapist Lynn Condon was honored as a D64 Shining Star.
Condon travels to all schools in the district, including assisting many students at Jefferson Early Childhood Center. “Lynn, I would just like to thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to our students,” said Jefferson Principal Michele Barkley. “Your commitment to inclusive practices and building a sense of belonging makes a difference in our community. ”
Barkley continued to praise Condon's contributions. “You teach students the essential skills for meaningful participation in their environment and empower them to thrive. I appreciate you being a thought partner and driving innovation. You inspire all of us not only to strive for excellence but to achieve it. ”
The meeting also celebrated the Jefferson students, specifically the Butterfly Buddies. Throughout the year, Barkley and staff recognize students who are fabulous friends, helpful hands, and wonderful workers.
Shoutout to the district’s youngest learners for being great students and friends.
