On April 8, the Lake Forest College community gathered for Student Symposium 2025, the College’s annual celebration of student creativity and academic achievement.
Hundreds of students, faculty, staff, and friends participated in a full day of presentations, performances, and scholarly engagement.
The day featured 224 student presentations in the Lillard Science Center held in four-time blocks from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Presentations included conference- style panels, musical performances, a greenhouse plant sale, student artwork, and an enlightening poster session.
The Mohr Student Center featured a noon-hour student publication display. At the end of the day, the celebration moved to the Durand Art Institute, where attendees viewed artwork created by the College’s seniors and enjoyed student musical entertainment during a final reception from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
