District 86 has announced a lineup of 42 affordable athletic camps aimed at providing summer activities for students of various interests and abilities.
"We understand the desire to engage in extracurricular activities beyond typical age restrictions or expensive private programs," said a representative from District 86.
The camps, priced between $150 and $200 on average, are designed to make quality athletic training accessible to more families within the community. Experienced coaches and instructors will lead the programs, focusing on developing fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive environment.
"Whether your child is just starting or looking to hone their talents, our camps offer an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and make new friends," added the representative.
The diverse range of camps includes options for basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, among others.
