Lake Forest Community High School District 115 announced that on April 9, the Women in STEM Club hosted a virtual Q&A session with experts in engineering, veterinary science, and chemistry. The announcement was made in a Facebook post on April 11, 2025.

According to the announcement by Lake Forest Community High School, the event allowed students to engage with professionals in these fields, providing them with practical guidance and career insights into STEM disciplines.

Lake Forest High School offers a broad range of extracurricular activities aimed at supporting students' emotional well-being and personal development beyond academics. These clubs are led by staff sponsors and cover various categories including academic, creative, leadership, service, and social activities. Among these is the Women in STEM Club, co-led by Ms. Frye and Ms. Nardulli. The club meets every other Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Room 238 and provides a mix of academic discussion, hands-on learning, and a supportive social environment for those interested in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Established in 1935, Lake Forest High School is a public secondary school located in Lake Forest, Illinois. It serves grades 9–12 and reports that approximately 95% of its students pursue higher education. The school supports this through personalized instruction within a collaborative environment emphasizing mutual respect, high expectations, and a sense of belonging. It serves the communities of Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood under the motto "Pursuits become habits."

Lake Forest Community High School District 115 serves approximately 1,500 students from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood in grades 9–12. The district offers a range of academic programs, extracurricular activities, career pathways, and community service opportunities. Its curriculum includes advanced placement courses, specialized electives, and access to athletics, performing arts, and various clubs. Feeder schools include Deer Path Middle School, Lake Bluff Middle School, and several private and parochial schools in the area, according to Lake Forest Schools.
