The Village of Barrington has contracted Dynamic to refurbish the Oaks water tower, aiming to ensure its longevity and improve its appearance.

Beginning Monday, April 21, crews will start cleaning, painting, and repairing the tower to enhance its durability, prevent corrosion, and protect it from environmental elements. The project is expected to conclude by Thursday, July 31.

The initiative focuses on preventing long-term weather damage, extending the life of the tower, and improving aesthetics.

The Oaks Water Tower was built in 2000, stands 150 feet tall, and holds 400,000 gallons of water.

This project aims to ensure that the community continues to have safe, reliable water for many years ahead. The Village expressed gratitude for residents' patience during this infrastructure enhancement.
