CUSD 10, in collaboration with the St. Louis Area Foodbank, will host a Mobile Food Market on Friday, April 25, 2025. The event will take place at Fireman's Hall, located at 9510 Collinsville Road, Collinsville, Illinois. Officials have emphasized a location change for this event.
The market offers free rotating items that often include meat, fresh produce, and shelf-stable food products.
Attendees are advised not to enter the parking lot before 9:00 AM.
The Mobile Food Market operates on a drive-thru model. Participants are requested to ensure there is room in their trunk or vehicle for items to be placed inside. Food distribution is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.; however, the start time may vary based on the arrival of the delivery truck.
The items offered and quantities available depend on stock levels at the STL Foodbank warehouse. The school district does not have prior knowledge or control over what will be provided.
The Mobile Food Market will continue until supplies run out. The event may be canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
