Greenbriar School has invited residents and alumni to partake in its 75th Anniversary Celebration scheduled for Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the school’s history through displays of historical photos, a time capsule exhibit, a selfie station, and self-guided tours.

The celebration will also feature a performance by current students of a new song composed specifically for this milestone. Additionally, commemorative items such as a 75th-anniversary cookbook containing recipes from various decades contributed by the Greenbriar community will be available for purchase in both hard copy and e-book formats. Proceeds from these sales will support Education For All Children, a nonprofit organization funding educational initiatives in Kenya, including District 28’s sister school, Spurgeon’s Academy.

Greenbriar alumni are encouraged to contribute to the historical displays by submitting photos from their time at the school via the Greenbriar 75th Anniversary Facebook page or email.

The school urges everyone to save the date and join in celebrating this significant occasion.
