On April 30, 2025, Collinsville Community Unit School District #10 principals recognized outstanding students by inviting them to the annual Illinois Principals Association (IPA) Southwestern Region Student Recognition Breakfast.
Based on their enrollment, Collinsville High School, Collinsville Middle School, Dorris Intermediate School, and Renfro Elementary School each chose two students. Other schools in the district selected one student to honor. Two family members per honoree were also invited to attend the certificate presentation and listen to a keynote speaker.
Students from throughout IPA's Southwestern Region were honored, including those from schools in Jersey, Madison, St. Clair, Monroe, and Randolph Counties.
