The Esports Program at Dorris Intermediate School (DIS) concluded its Spring 2025 season with a Super Smash Bros. tournament.
The results of the tournament are as follows:
- 1st place: Jackson Williams
- 2nd place: Maddy Hart
- 3rd place: Aiden Zulpo
- 4th place: Mavrick Davis
Esports represents a growing opportunity for students in the district. Jason Watts, DIS esports sponsor and STEM teacher, focuses on developing fundamental gaming and sportsmanship skills in students to prepare them for competition in middle school, high school, and beyond.

The esports program will resume next year with information available from DIS, CMS, and CHS.
